Support KSBCF's mission to make a difference in the education, independence, and quality of life of Kentucky's students and individuals who are blind or visually impaired. A portion of each ticket sold through our fundraiser will directly support our mission and help us to continue providing these empowering programs and resources.

Thank to everyone who made our Braille and Ales events a success! We had over 70 people support our mission and learn about braille, low vision accessibility tools, and orientation and mobility. Thank you to Trellis brewing for hosting us and the KSB teachers who volunteered their time. We are so happy for the support as we tried something new to engage and educate the Louisville community.
At KSBCF, one of our goals is to increase awareness and education about the blind and low vision community.
On Saturday, November 1, KSBCF held "Hiking in the Dark", an event where participants were able to learn about the importance of the long white cane and how to use the cane along the trail with assistance from a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS).
Participants were able to participant in activities to learn about Braille and to make trail mix while under blindfold. These activities offered a small insight into experiences of those individuals with blindness or low vision. Our hope at KSBCF is that participants can take theses experiences and share what they learned, sparking change in their community.

KSB Wildcat Goalball Invitational
October 17-18, 2026- The KSB Varsity Athletic Team hosted the 2026 Wildcat Invitational this past weekend at Kentucky School for the Blind. KSB Varsity Athletics was joined by Illinois School for the Visually Impaired, The Ohio State School for the Blind, and INdiana School for the Blind and VIsually Impaired for a weekend full of Goalball competition and camaraderie.
As part of all the fun and festivities, the KSB Goalball Program led a Goalball Clinic where participants learned all about Goalball, how to play, and even got to get on the court and play.
The KSB Varsity Athletic Department would like to send a huge Thank You to the KSB Charitable Foundation for their support in helping make this weekend happen!
