Enabling a Bright, Independent Future

Since 1984, we’ve set out to level the educational playing field for blind and visually impaired students, so they have the same advantages in the classroom as their sighted peers. Sometimes it’s as easy as providing a braille writer to a budding poet or connecting families to resources. Sometimes it’s as lifechanging as awarding scholarships to promising students or funding grants to those who share our mission. It’s all in an effort to make the future brighter for visually impaired student and those lucky enough to work with them.

KSBCF’s Response to COVID-19

We here at KSBCF would like our supporters to know that even during this health crisis, the foundation still continues in fulfilling our mission to make a difference for students in Kentucky who are blind and visually impaired. During the pandemic, KSBCF provided weekly groceries for families across Kentucky – feeding over 100 people a week! Click on the video below for more information:

If you know of anyone in the blind and visually impaired community that needs assistance, please contact KSBCF – we may be able to help!
