Fundraisers

Get Involved

Attend

The Kentucky School for the Blind Charitable Foundation hosts two fundraising events annually: KSBCF Annual Charity Golf Scramble and An Exceptional Affair, an evening of dinner, wine, and entertainment. The foundation’s fundraisers bring together a community of supporters who help raise awareness and critical funds for our programs and services.

We invite you to attend or volunteer at one of our events. Or, you can host your own inspirational fundraiser. There is no more enjoyable way to make a difference and help students who are blind and visually impaired. For more information about the foundation’s fundraisers, please contact us or call (502) 897-3990.

Host Your Own

Interested in Fundraising for the Kentucky School for the Blind Charitable Foundation by hosting an event? Here are some suggestions….

Bake Sale

Host a bake sale at your work, school, or community event.

Sporting Event

Running a marathon? A road race is a great way to motivate others to support the Kentucky School for the Blind Charitable Foundation. To experience what it is like to compete in a race without the benefit of sight, consider running blindfolded with a guide. You can reach out to friends and family and ask them to sponsor you in the race.

Dinner Party

Want to make it memorable – provide blindfolds to your guests and let them experience a meal using other senses besides sight.

Donation Gifts

Ask your friends and family to donate to KSBCF instead of buying a holiday, birthday, or wedding gift!

We would love to know more about your event and help you plan every step of the way. Please contact us with your event and the foundation will provide official logo for your event materials, tax acknowledgement letters for guests, and information about the Kentucky School for the Blind Charitable Foundation.
