About Us

The Kentucky School for the Blind Charitable Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving students in Kentucky who are blind or visually impaired.

Our Mission Matters

We fulfill our mission in a number of ways. By funding grants, awarding scholarships, providing access to assistive technologies and other supportive endeavors, we are able to help students who are visually impaired cultivate the skills to lead independent, productive and successful lives.

We primarily distribute funds to assist and financially support the Kentucky School for the Blind and its statewide outreach services that serve students and their families in Kentucky’s 176 school districts. However, we also make grant funding available to agencies and activities that align with our mission.
